A Moment with God

David's actions greatly displeased the Lord, who responded by sending a prophet to reveal David's sin and guide him toward repentance. We often tend to try to evade the consequences of our wrongdoing. In reality, we deserve eternal damnation for our sins.

He promised that after His ascension, the Father would send the Comforter to guide those who love Him. This Spirit helps us live Christlike lives and acts as an inner voice, though it can be hard to distinguish from our thoughts or the adversary’s. Remember, Jesus called Him the Spirit of Truth—He is God!

We often try to fit new experiences or religions into our existing beliefs. However, Jesus teaches that His message cannot be integrated into old structures. Doing so would harm both the old and the new. What He offers is fresh, transformative, and challenges existing ways of thinking. The Kingdom of God is not just another religion but a completely new way of living.

True Christianity does not make us rough or unpleasant. Instead, it encourages kindness and proper social conduct. If we are foul-tempered or rude, we drive others away and miss opportunities to share our faith. We should also avoid holding grudges. As Paul says in his letter to the Colossians, we should treat others with grace and kindness.
