Christ will one day return as Israel's Messiah once they cry out as a nation: "Blessed is He Who comes in the name of the Lord." But first, He had to be wounded for their transgressions. He also had to be wounded for our sins. He was bruised for their iniquity, and He was bruised for you and me as well. The chastisement of all our peace was laid upon Him that day on Calvary's Cross.
