David was a faithful man who put his trust in the Lord's promise of deliverance from all his enemies. He was confident that the Lord would grant him victory in the impending battle. In all our struggles, we must rely on the Lord's strength instead of our own resources. Similarly, when we pray, the enemy is defeated, and we, like David and Israel, will emerge victorious.
