We must strive to maintain a close and intimate relationship with our Lord Jesus and only act upon the things that we hear from Him. Let us never forget that in Christ, we are not merely refurbished versions of our old selves. God does not just fix us up or restore us to our former state. Instead, we are made entirely new beings, born into a new creation, and identified with Christ.
