The battle against our sins will be lifelong. Without Jesus Christ, we would be hopeless. We won't be free of sin in this lifetime. However, instead of living in sin and turning away from God, we can turn back to Him. Because of Jesus' great love, we become, in God's eyes, as David prayed, "blameless and innocent of great transgression."
