Jesus encountered people in pain all the time such as the man the leprosy and the sick servant of a Centurion.  So was Naaman. He was in need of healing. And he was healed in a rather unusual way. That way and that healing changed his life forever. This remind the hearers that God's ways are not our ways but following them can change one's life forever...
