The Lord Jesus willingly endured cruel mistreatment and gave up His life so that all who put their faith in Him may not perish but be granted peace with God, along with His inner peace that guards our hearts. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus paid the enormous price for our sins and shattered the power of sin and death in our lives forever, allowing us to be restored into fellowship with the Father.
