Jesus did not give up on Matthew. Instead, the Lord took him under His wing and disciple him so Matthew could become a channel of His blessing to others. His love and tender mercies will never give up on us. Lord will never forsake us. Like Matthew, the Lord simply wants us to come to him in repentance and humility...
